Gmail on my phone client

Hello there,
I need help as my email client warns me with 'website not
certified' each time that i download mail using pop to my
phone client.
It gives me 'TSL/SSL server certificate not authorised by
known authority' when i try to send. I cant send mail at all
as a result of that error message. I'm using a SE k800i
phone. My girlfriend has a SE z610i and can access her mail
via pop on her mobile without any problems. Please help.
