I wanted to search mail for a particular day, and I checked
Gmail Help
Center for Advanced Search operators (https://mail.google.
com/support/
bin/answer.py?answer=7190&topic=1579).
Fortunately, their example was what I needed:
Operator: "after:", "before:"
Definition: Search for messages sent during a certain
period of time
Example: after:2004/04/16 before:2004/04/18
Meaning - Messages sent after April 16, 2004, but before
April 18,
2004.*
*More precisely: Messages sent on April 17, 2004.
I searched for "after:2007/04/15
before:2007/04/17".
UNFORTUNATELY, the search results showed mail dated
2007/04/15,
2007/04/16 and 2007/04/17. I also noticed that not all
2007/04/15 and
2007/04/17 messages were shown -- they were cut at
approximately mid-
day.
Could this problem possibly involve my being in a different
time-zone
(+8)?
