help adding a new email address

Can anyone help me adding a new email address?
When I go to settings and use the ADD EMAIL address a box
comes up
asking me for verification.
It then tells me it will send a verification code, however,
I never
receive it.
What am I doing wrong???

Check your spam/bulk folder (if you have one). Likely, that
is where
the message went to.
