Some mail systems won't accept it. Many count the + as an
illegal
character.

yea, alot of websites wont let you use it :(

but another thing i personally use it for having more than
one account
on a website. say, you wanted 2 myspaces? i dont know if
myspace
allows you to use the +, but if it did, u could have as many
accounts
as you ever wanted.

but yea, the only real purpose is to help and stop spam, and
organize
your emails.

and no, msn and yahoo do not support this. As i remember, i
do believe
google is the only big corporation to offer this.
