non-spam going to spam

While the spam folder usually catches hi-90's % of my spam
(yea), a
non-spam email, a subscription, always ends up in spam,
despite
repeatedly checking and clicking "not spam".  The
next message from
the subscription a couple days later is sent to the spam
box.
