How long has it been since you last used it? If the account
is truely
yours that's a big factor. GMail will mark accounts
dormant after 3
months I think (can't find the URL with the exact times in
it)

and if it remains dormant for 6 months (9 total) it will
delete the
account and recycle the username. If it's been more than 9
months,
someone else may have snatched up the username you once had.
If it's been more than 5 days, and less than 9 months, you
should be
able to reset the password from the "Forgot my
password" link on the
login page. Note: If the account was accessed in the last 5
days, you
cannot reset the password without access to the secondary
e-mail
listed on the account.
