Do you use Norton Internet Security? If you do, it probably installed it's toolbar for IE. You have to tell the toolbar to allow popups as well. I had that same problem, but overlooked the toolbar.

Thanks for your prompt reply...
Case:
This is accruing only with Gmail
Not in my other emails MSN and Yahoo.
I did - earlier - marked mail.google.com as a trusted web
page
I did - earlier - set pop-up blocker to accept all pop-ups
form
mail.google.com
I am using NIS 2007
This started to accrued when I downloaded IE7 with Google
Tools Bar
from Google.com site.
Kindly advice.

Are both the Google toolbar9;s popup blocker (does it still have one?) and IE7's built-in blocker turned off? You may have disabled one and not the other, similar to what Nick indicated with Norton.

HeLLo,
No, I think it a bug in Google tool bar. Why? I had Norton
Internet
Security 2007 installed four months ago
during which I did not encounter this problem. This annoying
box
started
when I downloaded IE7 with Google Tools Bar.
This is what I did.

Have you tried just disabling/uninstalling the Google
Toolbar to see
if it's actually IE7? I've heard of many problems with IE7
and have
not upgraded any of my computers to it. I have it by
default on my
newest computer, and it frequently crashes, so I'm
definitely not
impressed with it. I have the Google Toolbar in both IE6,
and Firefox
on multiple computers with no problems.
Since the problem came up when you downloaded IE7 with the
Toolbar,
the problem is one, the other, or a combination of both.
I would try removing the Google Toolbar so IE7 is the only
culprit.

Hi,
Thanks 4 the reply, before I commence with your suggestion,
I would
like to comment on what you've mentioned.
To start with; one of the biggest mistakes I did. Was
upgrading to MS
Windows Vista! Unfortunately I had to do it because my
notebook is
compatible with it and second the upgrading was at a nominal
price (US
$ 40.00). But I can say it is just the same old Windows OS
with extra
touches cosmetics!
The interesting feature in IE7 was the "TABS".
That's it the tabs!
Beside it comes with MS Vista!
That's it I'll try uninstall the Google Tools Bar.
------------------------------------------------------------
------------------------
Question
Can reply to any message from my Gmail? Meaning I checked
the
email update so when you reply I'll receive copy of your
post. Can I
just
reply you back from there instead of replying from the
group?

Firefox has tabs, and is more expandable and stable than IE7
(MO).
With IETabs, it'll run IE6 in one/more of it's tabs, so you
have the
IE experience with Tabs and more.
Direct replying is often considered rude, and it excludes
the group
from learning. I personally never reply to directed
messages when
they started in a group.

Oops miss communication
Actually I meant replying from Gmail, example I received I
the alert
in my Gmail that Zak made a reply to my post. I want to
reply Zak back, I would just click the REPLY in the top
right corner
in Gmail and type - replying message - and it will be posted
in the
post in the top.
------------------------------------------------------------
-----------------------
>> This just I hypothetically speaking - correct me of
I am wrong...
However, I reached the conclusion that I can do that! I can
send a top
similar to the one I made with image, but I can't resend
another post
to that topic, simple because there is no sequence
indicator!
Meaning that the Group interface will not know this is a
reply - I
think it will just consider it a new topic!
