Because one member of the group was fooled, and he certainly
does not
appear to be unintelligent, I have to think that others may
be fooled
by certain types of phishing messages in their email boxes.
The latest
is "Postmaster" (programmed robot) phishing. You
are notified, in an
email that looks like the kind from a "Postmaster"
with which you are
familiar, that a message of yours to such and such an email
address
could not be delivered. To find out what the message was,
you have to
click on an attachment provided below or alongside the
subject field.
That is the giveaway to this notice of non-delivery as a
phishing
message. If it were bonafide, either you would be provided
with a copy
of the message you tried to send or a place to click on an
attachment
in the body of the message rather than in the fields above
the
message. Report the phishing message to your server and do
NOT click
on the attachment. - Wolfeman
