Sending messages

Very often, sending a message with a photo attached, it gets
to the
destination 12 to 24 hours later.  What's happening?  ron g

Most likely causes (in order of likelihood):
1) the recipient's system is slow in accepting
2) there is a network issue between Gmail and their system
3) there is a network issue between Gmail and the rest of
the world

I would put most of my chips on #1
