Sorry to hear this is such a deal breaker for you. I'm
afraid there
is no one here (a user's group) who is going to cry that
you're
switching, in fact, most of us will be quite happy for you
to find
what you need rather than settling for something that is
not.
That said... a couple key points to think about:
1) If you search this group (as it's suggested you always do
before
posting) you'll see this has been discussed, and is
generally
considered bad form for the danger it opens you up to for
spam and
virii.
2) What you ask *IS* possible in GMail with the use of
keyboard shortcuts.
3) You don't seem to have grasped the GMail concept of
"Never Delete",
which while naive and juvenile in it's statement; has a
point for a
large portion of mails shouldn't need to ever be deleted.
So... have fun switching back to Yahoo mail. presumably
you've been
there before and know about it's particular limitations and
problems.
Hopefully those aren't too much for you to handle.
Hopefully their
features more closely match what you're looking for in a
free
web-based mail system.
