Gmail Delaysin Firefox

After opening an email with a chain longer than 5 or 6
emails (back
and forth correspondence) Gmail freezes for 5-10 seconds
between every
step in Firefox. It actually won't even let me select other
site tabs
at the top of my Firefox browser. It's either moving very
very slowly
or not at all, although I can move the cursor, just can't
click.

I have this problem on both my computer at work and my home
PC and do
not have this problem when viewing Gmail in IE.

Any thoughts?

Try clearing your cache on the affected machine in the
affected
browser.  This is a common problem with stuck caches, so
that might be
what the problem is.
