POP download to Outlook missing attached forwarded message

I have been downloading gmail messages to my Outlook
successfully for
6 months.  Starting just within the last few weeks some
attachments
are no longer downloading.  The original message downloads
successfully, but the attached forwarded message is not
included.  I
have to go directly into gmail to see the attachment.

Can anyone help me understand why this is happening and show
me how to
correct it?
