DELETION problem growing?

Hey all,
     I heard about a tear of gmail account / message
deletions that
occurred in September of 06, and several that have occurred
since.

     However, today I write with my own testimonial: all of
my
messages sent to me since June 6, 2007 have been deleted. 
There is NO
trace of them.

     Please, be smart and back up your accounts to POP3.  I
only wish
I had.

     Please also let me know if you know of anything that
may help.

If you read the postings to this group you'll see that it
always seems
to be a temporary glitch.  If I recall, it's happened to me
before.  A
couple days later, the e-mails returned.  If this is the
case with
you, please post back to the group reporting if/when it was
fixed.
Also, be sure you run the usual round of "clear
cache/clear cookies"
to see if the problem is just a local representation.

THANK GOD!!!! (and Zack)...

Some 1,725 messages made their way to the Trash folder.  All
have been
restored.
