Hello Everyone:
I just got a Nokia 6263 and the phone is very nice but I
can't seem to
be able to use my gmail account with it.I am with t-mobile
and they
said that I need to contact Gmail Support to know what
configuration
setup I must have in order to use the gmail option that
already comes
with the phone.
Very disappointing.
I downloaded and installed the gmail mobile and it worked
but it is
not what I want. I'd rather use the one that came with the
phone
because I want to be alerted when I get e-mail.
Any ideas?

Thank you all
Mariadel

What kind of option came with the phone? If it came with
the phone
it's from T-Mobile or Nokia, not Google (at least not
directly). If
it's a POP or IMAP type application then you'll find the
settings you
need in the help pages about those topics.

Personally I like the GMail Mobile application better on my
phone
since it works with my online account and changes in either
place are
perfectly reflected.

Now, the problem is that I just realized that the GMail
Mobile
application won't work. It gives me an error saying that I
do not have
network access. Where do I go from here?
I wanted the option that came with the phone which I believe
is an Oz
client because it's supposed to alert me about new e-mail
arriving
into my inbox.
Thanks

Mariadel,

I just got my 6263 today and it did give me a few issues to
set up
gmail, however it is working. Check your Firmware and call
T-Mobile to
see if they can update it for you. I hope this helps happy
new year.
