RECALLING AN EMAIL

I am new to the group, so this topic has probably already
been
discussed. Is there a way to recall an email once it has
been sent??
I know that through Microsoft Outlook, you can recall an
e-mail if the
person has not opened it. Is this same feature available
through
GMAIL ??

If not, would you consider adding this feature to GMAIL??

There isn't a way through Gmail. AFAIK, the only case you
can in
Outlook is when the email is sent within an Exchange
system.

We cannot consider adding this as a feature as we're all
users like
yourself. If you want to suggest it to Google, you'll have
to use the
"Suggest a Feature" link at the beginning of the
"Help" pages.

If you search these forums, you'll see it's been discussed a
few
times, and is virtually impossible to implement, but you can
certainly
suggest it to them if you like.

It's important to note, that I've only ever seen this work
if
a) both users are on the SAME Exchange cluster (same
company)
b) The receiver isn't downloading their messages to a PST
c) the receiver hasn't already read the message

If any of those 3 "aren't right" it fails there as
well.
