The priority flag is not universally recognized by all
MUA's, and even
the ones that are aware of it do not handle it in a uniform
manner. The
use of that flag has become passe in the past few years.
SPAMMERS are known
to use it as a means of attempting to trick an unsuspecting
user into
opening the email. Personally, I totally disregard any
predefined
priority level when viewing an email. I decide whether I
want to flag a
message based on my criteria, not the sender's.
