school which uses
Google Apps as well and they have the same problem. Their
ISP is also 'Mijn
Domein'. They use the domain: [link] They contacted Mijn
Domein and they
suggested to contact Google because on their site everything

be able to save contacts in their Address Book that are NOT
shared with the
Common Address Book enabled by "contact sharing."

Upgrading my account to premium but not for all of my

I have 13 domains and I do not like the minimal outbound
email requirements. I
want to upgrade to the premium service for $50.00 a year.
but I don't want to
pay $50.00 per domain as most of them are aliases. I want to
upgrade to the
premium account and unlock the outbound sent limit to

Outlook POP3 receive very slow and Hammers network - 1 new

Outlook's receiving of messages from gmail is VERY slow and
often times out.
This not a problem with typical small text emails but ones
with attachments.
Furthermore, when Outlook is receiving the emails (very
slowly), the rest of
the network comes to a crawl. Pings (to something like
yahoo, msn, google) go

We are google app premier customers and I honestly can't see
much of a
difference between the 2 versions. We have had all of the
above problems with
mail and if you try to use calendaring with a mix of outlook
clients things
get even worse. Google app support so far has been

think that
limitation applies to each address though. You might be able
to use different
accounts to consolidate then pop the consolidated accounts.

Trying to determine Exchange/Google Apps gap - 1 new

The ONLY thing I still use exchange for is Tasks. Gmail is
better and calendar
is at least as good as outlook/exchange. There are options
for tasks and I
know more are coming. I just haven't found the right one
yet. (Anybody got
suggestions? I'm listening). Not sure that's what you need

I agree with samalolo that it is not possible to disable
webmail access.
However, there are a few things that might help you. You
could not give out
the log-in credentials and setup their POP3 access yourself.
You could set
their accounts to delete the e-mails off the web after they
are POPed.

with a Firefox
Add-on using a greasemonkey script. I'm no expert on this
stuff but I'm using :
"Better GMail" from Lifehacker and one of the many
options allows HTML in your
signature. With that, you could paste HTML link from a logo
file in Picasa to

Not a stupid question. I don't know of any way to make the
mailing list
addresses automatically show up in domain users' contact
lists. What I have
done in the past is just send an e-mail to the users giving
them the email
list address. Once they send the first e-mail to the list
address, it will be
added to their contacts. You could even ask them in the
