In case this can help you, about 20% of the time, if I send
an email from my
gmail account to my Yahoo account, it shows up in my inbox
in gmail, too. No
filters affecting it, nothing set up on the Yahoo end...

Charles, it isn't the labels, it is the subject lines. For
instance, your
filters are probably not set up to search by subjects like
"3 messages in 5
conversations" but on the "from" address
or the name of the group. However, if
two messages come in with the exact same subject line, that
is a trigger for

HTML emails not rendering correctly - 1 new

Gmail does not render html emails correctly, especially if
they have tables in
them. If an html email contains tables (or tables within
tables) Gmail renders
the cells and rows all over the page, changes font sizes and
types.... looks

button always has to be
scrolled down to. I've tried keyboard shortcuts, i.e. Shift
"r" but nothing

Does anybody know of a way to add somebody to the list of
recipients of an
email without resending to the original recipients? If I
just send the same
content to that person without the other addresses, it will
be a completely
different conversation. I understand that this new person
can't be added to
the list of recipients in emails that have already - Thurs,

OK, I ran both a-squared and Ad-Aware and AVG to clean up
problems. The
address worked last night but this morning it is doing it
again. I cleaned it
again but I am still getting the same message. This is only
with one email

Loading problem - 3 new

The red loading indicator comes on and after a moment it
vanishes and the bar

I realise that. the above tools do use SMTP to upload emails
from other places.
.. but you loose the proper date info. IF gmail did (which I
know it doesn't)
support IMAP from OTHER servers, one could very easily
import old emails...
