"Enter" button does not work while typing email.

When typing an email in GMAIL, when I hit the enter button,

advance my typing to the next line. It used to, but suddenly
stopped. I have
to hold down the shift key and hit the enter key at the same
time, then it
will advance to the next line, so I may continue typing my

Thank you Kay... You are correct, the blasted "Custom
messages" in Chat can
only be DELETED, that is, gone forever, in GTalk. However,
it means that one
has to download GTalk, delete the darned messages, and then
uninstall GTalk if
one never intends to use it. Very cumbersome process to do

Ok, switching to Basic HTML worked. I lose some
functionality, but at least I
can send the darn emails. If someone from Gmail is reading
these, then listen
up. I will put up with this situation for awhile, and then
if it isn't fixed,
I'll go back to Yahoo, and take everyone I've signed up to

Missing email msgs go to spam - 2 new

I signed up for a daily email and it came without problems
for months. However,
there was no msg for 3 days in the last week or so (the
18th, 23rd and 24th).
I found the msgs in my spam folder. as far as I know, there
was nothing
different between these 3 and the 150 other msgs just like
