Can't sign in to gmail - 3 new

Every time I try to sign into gmail from my home computer it

The web address continues to change while the activiy box

A spammer is using my email address as their own, and I'm
getting a bounced

5 minutes. I assume a
spammer is using my address deceptively to make it look like

me. But they are even more clever. to be spamming the

Automatically signed in to gmail when I go there despite

automatically signed in.

Ah! No. GMail won't... not to my knowledge. Here's why: when
you're using POP,
the email program only downloads messages in the INBOX
folder (and the ARCHIVE
folder). Here, if the messages are in SPAM or Drafts, or
even Sent Mail, it

gmail & Apple Mail 2.1.1 - 1 new

I recently set up gmail and then configured a pop account
for this gmail in
Apple Mail 2.1.1. I can send emails from this gmail account
in Apple Mail 2.1.
1, but I cannot receive emails sent to this gmail account in
Apple Mail 2.1.1,
although they do correctly show up in the corresponding
gmail webmail account.

I could have created a new gmail account and stopped using
