connection to GMail by
default (denoted by http*s* in the URL) that creates issues
for chat. You can
turn of the encrypted connection if you really want to use

I'd like to be able to check my gmail account when i'm not
on my mac. i use
mac mail at home and on my iphone, where gmail is
automatically forwarded.
However when i go to gmail, not only do i have to press 'ALL
MAIL" to see new

Ok, up until about 3 weeks ago Gmail did a FANTASTIC job of
blocking spam and
filtering it out. I get ALOT of spam, NONE got through to

This is quite
annoying. I can send/recv/archive/delete fine, just the
timestamps are wrong.
I've tried changing my timezone, its current pacific GMT-8,
it was when I
first looked at it and it is now. I tried changing it to
GMT, logging out and

my husband and I use apple's mail program. we use two
laptops. we have one
gmail account. We can't get the incoming mail to go to both
computers. If his
computer is in use, it goes to his, skips mine. If mine is
in use, it skips
