Can't open attachments w/Firefox - 1 new

When I try to open word or excel docs (music, adobe, etc all
are fine) from
gmail on Firefox the box that asks if I want to save or open
doesn't pop up.
It just goes straight to my browse window and asks where I'd
like to save it.
This is so annoying bec I usually just want to look at the

Hello... please tell me how to change the view of my gmail
id to standard view.
Each time iam opening it the mail id opens in HTML view.
But my friends id
opens in the standard view mode. how can i change form HTML
to standard view.
tried changing the options but nothing works.....the system
is fien windows Xp.

Forwarding emails with pictures - 1 new

When I receive an email with embedded pictures (not
attachments) and try to
forward it, the forwarded email does not show the pictures.
This happens with
every email I try to forward that has pictures, regardless
of whether or not
the original email with pictures was from another gmail
user. Help please.

Hi, I've successfully imported list of contacts from csv.
Then I tried to
update one contact (notes). I modified csv file to contain
only one updated
row and imported it back to GMail, but to my surprise the
"notes" field was
not updated but the modified value was added to the old
