The usual way of logging into gmail protects login
passwords, but does not
encrypt traffic after that. I have always logged in through
[link], which
encrypts everything. Today it stopped working - not all
content is encrypted.

I am having the same problem (Thunderbird & Treo). When
one client downloads
messages, it seems to reach out and touch the message on the
server and mark
them as read. Once that happens the other clients won't see
it as a new email

Sent mail gets sent to me instead of archived - 2 new

that same email gets forwarded back to me, so it gets
downloaded into Mac Mail
and onto my iPhone. I have no reason to have these sent

How to disable spam filter? - 1 new

Make a filter to look for "**" and mark it
starred, this will allow all the
incoming mail to go trough. Hope this helps, i do this to
let my own spam
filter do the job as it does a better job at learning. -
