Joy, thanks for the insight. I managed to fix the problem...
I did in fact
have another email address in my account settings, so i got
rid of it and the
problem went away. I went ahead and added the secondary
email address again
and all is still well. If the problem occurs again I'll know
what the culprit

I'm having trouble when I try to send mail. Sometimes it
goes right through,
while others I have to stop and resend.... sometimes as many
as 5 times before

WOW! This post is like looking into a mirror. My account was
hacked a week ago
and the same phishing email was sent out to everyone on my
contact list (which
is hundreds of people including bussinesses I have applied
to) I'm on day 7

gmail 'standard' view not loading - 1 new

...I'd already tried all the browser cache clearing, etc. In
fact, I've even
set up completely new profiles in firefox with no extensions
at all and set up
to clear the history, cache, cookies etc on exit and it
still didn't work!
Anyway, all the accounts seem to be able to log in straight
to the standard
view as of this morning. Hopefully will stay that way! -

Subject Prefix - 1 new

I have no problem creating subject prefixes. I appreciate
Gmail for providing
them. My question is how to display message lists on Group
with prefixes, the
way Inbox is displayed. As I've said, I want to be able to
find a message in

Hello, I just started to use Imap Gmail, and worked fined
but I have some
problems with characters encoding. Some french mails have ?
instead of the
special characters like ιθη ... i tried to change the
encoding, but it doesn't
worked. Furthermore, accents are OK in the subject of the
message, and all the
