Have the same problem here. Very annoying. Also due to the
fact that when I
open the attachment (instead of saving), it doesn't have a
zip extension (if I
have a.mpg attached it is renamed to a_mpg), so the file
can't be opened

download to my pop client. It used to be such that if the
mail hadn't been
downloaded via pop then it would download it but sometimes I
use the web
interface to read my mail at work before coming home and
downloading them via

When I try to open gmail all I get is a blank screen with
"loading" in the
upper right hand corner & "done" at the
bottom. I have tried for 2 days with

drafts I want to discard, and click discard nothing happens.

open the draft (for editing) and click discard draft it will

Viewing video files without downloading them - 2 new

I used to be able to click on a attached video file and
"open" it. Now all of
a sudden I don't have the option to "Open" the
file. I only have the option to
Download it. They now come to me in a Zip file now and I

get a "this label is invalid" message. Upon
renaming it (in various browsers)
it appears that it starts with a line feed character (it

Greetings, set up Thunderbird 1.5 and the GMail POP per the
instructions,
added the GMail extension; can send just fine but have an
odd situation with
the POP server. If I go to the GMail "Settings"
page, "Forwarding and POP",
and enable POP downloading, Thunderbird works for one
