Earlier, even without the Gmail notifier, clicking mailto:
causes a Gmail
compose window to open (with Google toolbar). Now that I
have reinstalled
windows and Firefox with google toolbar, I don't have that
anymore. How come?
I don't need to be notified of new mail, and if possible, I

that without having to install anymore program or extension.

click on the little
'paper icon' to the left of the file. It will download it
without zipping it!

I had the same problem on the same day. I finally figured
out that for me it
was the e-mail virus scanner in McAfee. Disable the scanner
by right clicking
on the McAfee icon in the taskbar. Go to VirusScan, then
options. Uncheck the

Tracking Down Popup Blockers - 2 new

A friend has signed up for Gmail, but certain features
don't work because
there's a popup blocker. It's not in the browser, we've
checked that. IE won't
do popups either. So, what are the other options? He says
he's installed "A
Windows Popup Blocker" and "A Packard-Bell Popup
Blocker" but he's not sure of

No matter what size I upload Gmail asks me to crop it. I
even tried a 25 x 25
pixel and it came out blurry. Anyone else having the same

Importing contacts from Hotmail's Windows Live Mail - 2 new

View" in my contacts, but can't
find it . . . I've also tried sending an email to all of my
