OK I finally found the solution. It turns out that it was
indeed one of my
filters. I had a filter set to delete any email featuring
the word "SPAM" The
problem is that within the footer of most Yahoo Mail emails,
there's a "Tired

Logging out of Gmail from Gtalk - 4 new
---------------------------------------
In Gtalk, which I click on the little envelope it logs me
into Gmail and I am
able to check my mail. When I Sign Out of Gtalk it doesn't
then sign me out of
Gmail. Why and is there a way to change this? TIA J - Thurs,

Weird messages - 4 new

Twice now, I've received an email to my Gmail account
claiming to be sent from
the very same Gmail account. All it contains is a 3 digit
number as the
message subject, and another 3 digit number as the message
itself. I think
both emails, despite being received around 2 weeks apart,
contained the same

Bounced Messages. - 2 new

I didn't figure this out. It's not a problem with the
other end, since they
deliver mail for every other mail server, including my work
email, Yahoo and
Hotmail. The address I use is correct. The bounce message is
coming from <
mailer-dae...googlemail.com> , so it's not the
remote server rejecting the

all been unwarranted advertisements. In each case, I have
marked them and
reported them as spam. Still the sender gets into my Inbox
at least 3 times a

Every request for help I have made regarding a Gmail issue
has had an auto
response back and has not been at all helpfull. They have at
times pointed me
to a FAQ based answer but what is a guy to do when he has
further questions!
Now, I understand the difficulties in running a large
support opperation and
especially one that serves the joe public and I can see -

Adding email accounts - email code is not being sent to some

I have been trying to add new email accounts to my gmail
account. When gmail
sends out the standard verification code email, it is not
received into the
inbox of some email addresses in order to retrieve the code
and verify the new

Can't get into GMail on my eMac - 2 new

We have a wireless network in our house. My poor husband is
using a Dell
laptop with Windows and I use both an iBook G4 and an eMac.
I get onto the
network through the Airport Extreme card in my iBook just
fine and can use
GMail with no problem on the iBook (I'm also using Safari
as the browser). I

Mail not sending: 530 Authentication required - 4 new

My wife is unable to send mail to addresses at one domain
(have tried 3
addresses). The messages bounce immediately with error
"SMTP Error (state 8):
530 Authentication required" -- attached below. She is
sending mail using
Firefox in Mac OSX, not a mail client. She does not use POP

Bouncing Picasa Photographs - 2 new

What is the story? Every Picasa pic I have sent has been
bounced, Delivery
Failure? Anybody know what is going on? The email addresses
are correct as
they work on my other email addresses, but Picasa is easier
to use than Kodak.

Yeah this is happening to me too. My work (James Cook Uni)
smtp servers are
rejecting my sent mail for the last two days. I phoned my
mail sysadmin. He
says, "not my problem, they should fix it". I am
screwed unless spamcop gets
google off their list asap. Please somebody at google can
you sort it out? Or

Gmail does not make Conversation of all mails ? - 1 new

will not bundle
them in one conversation but will display them as thre

is very annoying. It should be able to detect that it is the

Gmail slow and not auto completing addys half the time... -

For the past week or so my G-mail (which I ADORE ususally)
has to be refreshed
before it will load (on signing in). Yesterday it started
failing to auto
complete addresses. I don't know about everyone else but
autocomplete is the
only way to go when you don't have the memory to recall 10
