Oh!  And I also had to replace parts from the latest
autoconf as per
previous messages.  Though my ENDIAN patch was a little
different to
previous ones:

#if defined(__BIG_ENDIAN__)
#define WORDS_BIGENDIAN 1
#endif

The latest SVN version also seems to suffer from this.

Libgcrypt 1.3 will come with a new option
--disable-endian-check,
similar to gnupg 1.4.
