Try setting the overflow on #mainContent to hidden and
Firefox will
render the results where you think they should be
vertically, but
there will be some significant whitespace between the left
sidebar and
main content because the latter is given a left margin of
248 pixels
in twoColFixLtHdr.css.

I did some more tinkering last night, It seems when i give
my sidebar1
an attribute of  "position: absolute; " it
resolves the issue. I just
hate giving my div's absolute positions.
