I am pretty sure that the "history" as you call
it is only normal data
storage in calendar, and as such would be stored as long as
you are
active in the account. I think that you need to log in once
every 9
months or so.
For the storage amount, I would guess that it would use the
2.6 Gb of
GMAIL, which is a huge amount of storage, such that you'd
be hard
pressed to use even 0.1 Gb with calendar events, such is the
tiny
amount of storage that they would require. In other words,
for your
purposes, I would consider it basically unlimited. Your
life span is
probably a lot more limited than your storage space on
google calendar.
