UN-REMOVE A "Other Calendar"

I remove a friends calendar and would like to get it back. 
He deleted
me from his Share List and added me back.  I sent request to
add his
calendar and nothing seems to work.  I log-off and cleared
my cache and
temp files but still can't get it back.  Is there a FILE
somewhere that
says to exclude it?
