The tangible items only restriction is in the Google
Checkout Program
Policies and Guidelines. Item number 7.
"7. Payment Guarantee Policy
b. What the policy covers:
Orders for tangible goods
Intangible goods, including services and digital content,
are not
covered."
It is in the section discussing chargeback's. Apparently
Google would
not fight a chargeback filed against a seller of intangible
products.
As I read it for a second time, it does not prohibit the
sales of
intangibles but offers no protection against charge backs.
