Hi,
I'd like to emphasize that Google Checkout is not a payment
gateway. To
clarify, Google Checkout is a checkout method rather than
another
payment method. Therefore, placing the Google Checkout
button behind
the merchant's login page is against our policy, stated as
follows:
http
s://checkout.google.com/seller/policies.html
4. c. Place Google Checkout buttons before your login pages
Buyers should only have to provide their login, purchasing,
and other
information once. If you require users to register or sign
in to your
site, you must ensure Google Checkout and Buy Now buttons
are available
before the login process so buyers are able to check out
with Google
Checkout without having to log in. (You may still track
visits and
personalize pages using cookies.)
I hope this clarifies any confusion you might've had
regarding the
proper usage of Google Checkout. Please reply back if this
doesn't
help.
Thanks,
Jacob
