Hello,

I'm in the process of deciding between google checkout and
paypal. I
would love to use google, because I don't care for paypal,
but there
are some serious limitations.

1) Too Simple or Too Complex--it should be easy to do a
dynamic "buy
now" button without going to the API (all of which
requires XML and
encoding, etc.). This is a general one I'm fine with, I'm a
developer
and I can get over this one, it's just annoying...
2) No Renewing Subscriptions.
3) It's against policy that the user login to the website
before
checking out???

Ok, from all of this (especially #2 + #3) I gather google
has NO
interest in being a checkout cart for online services and
chooses to
focus only on tangible goods. What if you're website
requires personal
data stored and people can upgrade to a pay version of the
site. Is
this a market google is writing off???

Thank you.
-Mike
