HTML API: Accepting item_price_1 value with dollar ($) sign

Hi, Is there a way to accept "$22.25" as a valid
value for the HTML
API? The reason I ask is that the auction manager that I am
using can
only generate values with dollar signs in front of it. So,
in order to
use Google Checkout forms with eBay auctions, I would need
the ability
for the HTML API to handle item_price_1 with a value of
"$22.25"
instead of "22.25" as the API currently requires.
I am thinking if the
currency is explicitly stated as "USD", there
would be no harm in
including the dollar sign, or having it parsed out at the
server end.

Hi,

Unfortunately, you cannot include the dollar sign in the
item_price_1
variable for the HTML API. It strictly accepts numbers only,
such as
"22.25".

Hope this clarifies,

Jacob

Hi, I'd like to suggest that the dollar sign be acceptable
if the
currency is explicitly stated as USD.
