| "Instantaneous" purchase of
digital item |

Hi there. I have level 2 integration working (leveraging the provided
sample code, which is very useful) -- getting all my callbacks, etc. I
notice that the callbacks are quick relative to the purchase, but not
clear how deterministic that is. I am implementing the purchase
process for digital items, so want to be able to offer the buyer a
download as soon as they come back from the google checkout UI. If the
callbacks all happen right away, I can charge the order then and get a
pretty good experience for the user, but if the processing on google
side takes even a few minutes, my user experience will really suffer.
I have not seen anything in the docs, and I know this sis not the
primary target for google checkout, but is there any way I can ensure I
get the callbacks right away, or even somehow require the order to be
charged instantaneously on the google side? Any suggestions on how I
can make the checkout process complete as quickly as possible? Even if
I offer the download the instant they place the order, is the new order
notification going to come fast enought? Other ideas?
Many thanks,
Will

Hi Will,
Yes, you can set your preference to automatically charge orders:

Hope this helps,
Jacob
