Does that failure block other notifications? Or is it just
an
annoyance?

Hi Tony,

The notifications will be sent to your API callback URL
until your
callback script responds with HTTP 200 OK along with
<notification-
acknowledgment> or until 30 days have passed, whichever
happens first:
http://code.google.com/apis/checkout/dev
eloper/index.html#responding_to_
notifications

Thanks,
Jacob

Tony,

My apologies I should have clarified earlier.

It will block other notifications associated with that
particular
order, so you need to acknowledge the notifications to
receive other
notification messages associated with that order.

Thanks,
Jacob
