I've just set up a sandbox account but not a merchant
account as
someone else will be doing that. I've copied the peanut
butter code
from the html api help pages but I am getting a Page Not
Found error
in IE. Error if FireFox too, something about downloading
page, which
then displays a "you are not authorised to post to this
server" type
message.
So I've searched this forum for Page Not Found errors. As
I'm in the
UK, I've added the following 2 lines as below which worked
for
someone:
<input type="hidden"
name="item_currency_1" value="GBP"/>
<input type="hidden"
name="ship_method_currency_1"
value="GBP"/>
I've also removed the two lines referring to the tax_rate
and
tax_us_state, I'll leave the thorny question of VAT until
I've got
this going.
Another suggestion was to replace my merchant account with
xxxx in
both form action and img src, but that didn't work either. I
also
tried replacing loc with en_UK but that didn't help either.
I know XML well, and will use that eventually, but am under
some time
pressure to get this html api going fairly soon, so all
help
appreciated. I thought at first my google checkout sandbox
account
might not be set up yet, but I'm logged into it fine.
I hope I'm not going to have to give up on google checkout,
as most
other things google have done are good.
