Thread: Problems with conversion from sandbox to production

Problems with conversion from sandbox to production

I am using just the html form API. The form works well in
the sandbox.
The setting
has been changed so that it should accept a post without an
xml
merchant key.

My production account is also set up, and working with a few
"Buy"
buttons.

But when I change the URLs for the form to checkout instead
of sandbox
and
the merchant ID from the sandbox id to the production id, I
get just
an error message
with no explanation. Plus the link to the checkout image
does not
work.

Advice would be very welcome.

If i have an apple and you have an apple and we switch then we both have an apple.
But if i have an idea and you have an idea and we switch then we both have two ideas.

Hi you have a mistake in your url.

The correct one is:

https://checkout.google.com/cws/v2/Merchant/[[Merchant-ID]] /checkoutForm

instead of

https://checkout.google.com/checkout/cws/v2/Merchant/xxxxxxxx/checkoutForm

See that .../checkout is not needed in production.

Regards,

Ignacio.
