404 not found for google checkout button

OK, am I missing something silly here?

Trying to add the Google checkout button to a page and just
get

Not Found
Error 404

String is

https://checkout.google.com/buttons/che
ckout.gif?merchant_id=XXXXXX&w=160&h=44&style=wh
ite&variant=text&loc=en_GB

(replaced merchante id with XX's)

Tried http and https.

What am I missing?

i think the problem is you're using a non-standard button
size.

here's a button generator you can use:
