XML API Return fails although recieving server is secure.

Hi all,

I have integrated googlecart into my site with an API XML
response so
we can process the order.

In sandbox this worked fine, its only since we tried to run
this on
the secure side of the server that i have a problem.

I have installed a SSL V3 certificate onto the server and if
i access
the https:// page it works fine without any security
errors.

We pointed the API call back to https://oursit
e.co.uk/api_callback.php
and obviously put the necessary code in the correct
locations.

I keep getting the error message back saying...

"We encountered an error trying to access your server
at
https://oursi
te.co.uk/api_callback.php; the error we got is:
javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException:
sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path
building failed:
sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException:
unable to
find valid certification path to requested target "

Has anyone any clues what the hell this means ?? This is the
last
thing stopping me from launching the site.

Kind Regards All.

Craig

Is the cert acceptable to google? The errors below look very
much like what
people get when their cert is not right or not on google's
list.

Hi,

I have looked on the approved list and it appears to be ok,

The certificate is from comodo - instant SSL.

I have had different variations of their signature on the certificate, but all falling within googles approved list (below)
"
  • Trusted Certificate Services - Comodo CA Limited
  • UTN - DATACorp SGC
  • UTN-USER First-Network Applications
  • UTN-USERFirst-Client Authentication and Email
  • UTN-USERFirst-Hardware
  • UTN-USERFirst-Object   "
  • Any other suggestions would be greatly recieved, this is now stopping me launching my site.

    Kindest Regards
    Craig
