Hello,
I am a developer and I refer to this page often:
http://checkout.google.com/support/s
ell/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=74284
Specifically, look at the bottom of the page where they put
it all
together. I am using the same method, where I use hidden
input fields
to pass variables. Must biggest frustrations usually stem
from not
knowing exactly what the correct name of a variable needs to
be for it
to work properly. Over time, I have added different
shipping methods
and tax for only the state of MN, etc. Now the clients want
to not
tax clothing. I have been searching far and wide for the
correct
variables to pass for alternate tax rates, and I haven't
been able to
make it work as of yet.
I thought I would just pull the tax_rate field from the end
and
specifiy tax_rate_1, tax_rate_2, etc. like I did when they
wanted
multiple shipping options, but that does not work.
Could someone who has made this work with the hidden input
field idea
please help?
Chad
