Allowing notifications to be sent to non-SSL addresses

Hi,

Is there plans to allow callback notifications to be sent to
a non-SSL
address?

This would open the Google Checkout system to MANY more
vendors and
developers.

The current settings are too restrictive, and having
integrated with
around 12 major payment systems, Google is the first one
I've seen
that has this SSL restriction.

Why not make it more accesible?
