return url question

I want to display a smal popup thank you window,when the
purchaser
clicks on the return url link after paying.
I have a short javasript script that reads the referring
address and
opens the window if the referring page is google checkout.

However, in test mode, I am simply displaying an alert box
with the
referring url BUT am getting "undefined" instead
of "https://
sandbox.google.com/checkout/confirmation...."

Does GC hide it's address from the browser when you click on
the
rerurn url?

i don't know about the referrering url, but you could setup
a page
specially for customers returning from GC which could be the
same as
usual but with the special things for GC added.
