Dear all,
I have GDSE II installed on my work PC with windows 2000. My
computer
performance has degraded recently (this is not related to
GDSE) and my
admin suggested reinstalling windows (it will be XP now).
This means
zeroing out my hard drive (this is how they do it :( ). I
will
obviuosly archive my documents to another hard drive and
can reindex
them together with my lotus email later, but I would like to
keep in
the GDSE index cached web-pages that I have visited. Will
the following
work:
-- copying My documents and GDSE index files to another hard
drive
-- installing new windows
-- copying my docs back to the same directories
-- copying back GDSE index
-- installing latest version of GDSE
