We're pleased to announce that the Google Team is starting
a new and
improved group aimed at providing a discussion forum for
Google Desktop
for Enterprise users, starting the evening of Wednesday,
June 14th.
This group is called Google Desktop for Enterprise
(http://groups.google.com/group/Google-Desktop-Enterprise
) and will
serve as a place for all IT managers, system administrators,
and
Enterprise users to post questions, suggestions, and share
tips on
using Google Desktop for Enterprise. We plan to archive the
content of
the former discussion group as a subgroup of the new Desktop
for
Enterprise group, so none of your valuable posts will be
lost.
We will also have an official Google representative who will
periodically offer tips and clarifications in the group
under the
nickname "Google Desktop Guide."
Please note the following important changes:
1. Please bookmark the new URL:
http://groups.google.com/group/Google-Desktop-Enterprise
2. If you subscribe to this list via email, you will need to
re-enable
mail delivery under the new group. You can do so by visiting
http://groups.google.com/group/Google-Desktop-Enterprise
and clicking
on the "Unsubscribe or change membership" link
located inside of the
yellow-colored bar on the top of the page.
