Fuzzy Images

I have just been introduced to Google Earth. When I zoom in
closer than
40,000 feet everything goes fuzzy. Am I doing something
wrong? Is there
something about my computer that is incompatable?

It depends on the area your zooming in on.  Some areas are
just not
mapped at high resolution.  You might try adjusting settings
to get
better pictures.  There are numerous settings in the menu.

Interesting one for you: I've got GE on my notebook &
desktop.

I've got a crystal clear image of my workplace (a school)
where you can
clearly make out arms on pupils on my laptop, but when I
view the exact
same location on my desktop, I can only just make out the
buildings!

How do I get the better image on both?

Same versions of GE, same ADSL link.
