Does anyone know of a hack that shows the Google Earth
topography
visually in a 2D sense rather than a 3D sense? I.e. like a
colored
plot of a Digital Elevation Model? I want something like the
Google
Mars map (http://www.google.com/mar
s/) but for Earth. Either in Google
Earth or in Google Maps.
To the Google engineers: is there any plan for this type of
thing? It
seems to me that since you already have the data, it might
not be too
hard...
