Multiple (Different) Markers

I am new to Google Earth v 3.0.0762, I have it on my website
from a
previous person and I am trying to pick it up and add some
things.  I
would like to insert a star marking the city where we live.
(and leave
the default marker for all of the locations).  Is this
posible to use
multiple (different) markers on a map? and how do I do it?
The code
always
seems to different when I have found tutorials about this.
If you can
help that would be great. Thanks

Create all of the markers (add Placemark) and then create a
folder (add

folder).  Save all of the placemarkers in the folder.  Then
save the
folder.  If you amke changes to the Palcemark be sure to
readd it to
the folder and resave the fold
