Google earth V4 run very slow on my Debian Linux box

Hello All
   I have just download and install GoogleEarth V4 on my
Debian
system,Kernel 2.6.8. I can start it but it run so slow, I'm
sure it's
not the network problem. maybe something wrong to display
the
images.even hard to move the mouse.

graphic card driver problem?

is there anyone encountered this issue?
